The compression fracture of his T6 vertebrae not only caused tremendous pain, but forced him to walk with a cane. He tells us: "Finally I found the right doctors and the right facilities to repair the fracture. I went in this past Wednesday as an out patient for a total of five hours. One hour prep, 45 mins in OR, 11 mins under the knife and two hours to recoup." Palmer adds, "The radiologist injected a load of polymer epoxy into my vertebrae which caused to re-inflate. It provided near instant relief. I walked out under my own power. In fact, I gave my cane to somebody in the lobby." He tells us that he's now in the process of weening himself off the pain pills he's been taking. "I have a new lease on life!".....
