New LPFM On The Eastern Shore

Barclay, MD is now home to a new low-power FM outlet, 98.3 The Seagull (WXQA-LP), licensed to Shore Community Broadcasting Inc. The station Is airing a Classic Hits format with jingles, sweepers, and local DJ’S.

“This station was created to bring back real, local radio,” said Aaron Sumeriski, president and program director of The Seagull, “Local radio still plays a critical role in our everyday lives. We want listeners to enjoy the music while knowing they can rely on us for local information on the Mid-Shore when it matters most.”
