1190 AM WTSD For Sale Following iHeart LMA Exit
Earlier this month, DCRTV reported that iHeartMedia ended its LMA of Leesburg’s WTSD (1190 AM), bringing its iHeart Sports DC format to an end on AM (It’s still available on 101.1 HD-2). The move left the station owner, Potomac Radio Group, taking the station off the air.
Today, DCRTV has confirmed with Potomac Radio Group that WTSD is officially up for sale. The station operates at 50,000 watts daytime and 1,200 watts at night, providing a strong regional daytime signal with potential appeal across a variety of formats.
