98 Rock’s Amelia To Retire
After 30 years in radio and 23 years at 98 Rock, midday personality Amelia announced today that she plans to retire from the station at the end of 2026.
Amelia has been part of the station’s lineup since returning full-time in 2003. She has worked multiple dayparts, including mornings on Mickey, Amelia, and Spiegel, afternoons, and most recently middays. Over the years, she became a steady presence through lineup changes, format shifts and changing eras of Baltimore radio.
The station says it plans to celebrate Amelia’s career throughout 2026 with special programming, guest appearances and listener tributes leading up to her final show later this year. You can watch video of the on-air announcement here.
