99.9 WFRE Raises Over $10 Million For St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Frederick’s 99.9 WFRE hit a major milestone. The station and its listeners have raised over $10 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital over the last two decades, through the annual “Free Country Cares for St. Jude Kids” Radiothon.
Since launching the radiothon in 2006, WFRE has steadily grown its impact. This year they pulled in a record $640,320
For a market the size of Frederick, this Is an incredible achievement.
