Andrea McCarren Takes Journalism Expertise to India
Veteran Washington television journalist Andrea McCarren has embarked on a new international assignment, serving as a writing, editing, and storytelling coach at The Indian Express newsroom in New Delhi. McCarren shared the news on Facebook, describing the city as “electrifying, captivating, intense, and so much beauty amidst the chaos.”
McCarren is well known to Washington viewers for her years as an investigative reporter at WJLA and WUSA.
In her post, McCarren said she is working alongside “journalistic legends” at The Indian Express, one of India’s leading news organizations, known for its investigative reporting and its “Journalism of Courage” motto. Founded in 1932, the newspaper is one of the country’s most respected news outlets.
