Andy Pollin Out At ESPN 630 Amid Cumulus Layoffs
Sports radio personality Andy Pollin announced on X that he has been laid off from ESPN 630 (WSBN). Pollin had been hosting a weekday 9 – 11 AM show. His departure comes as Cumulus makes additional personnel reductions at stations around the country.
Pollin has been a fixture in Washington sports radio for more than three decades. He helped launch The Team 980 (WTEM) as Washington’s first full time sports talk station in 1992. He also worked alongside Tony Kornheiser, and later worked at 106.7 The Fan (WJFK) before joining ESPN 630 in 2019.
