B101.5 Posts Rare Afternoon Drive Opening
A rare opportunity has opened up at WBQB (B101.5) in Fredericksburg. Centennial Broadcasting is seeking a new afternoon drive personality following Trapper Young’s promotion to mornings at sister station WGRQ (95.9 The GOAT). Young is wrapping up an impressive 29-year run in the afternoons.
Unlike many local stations that have turned to voice tracking in recent years, B101.5 continues to emphasize local programming, with the position requiring a personality capable of handling on-air duties, hourly news and traffic updates, social media engagement, remote broadcasts, commercial production, and emergency alert responsibilities.
