Bob Boilen And Takoma Radio Featured On WETA Arts
WOWD-LP (94.3 FM) and program director Bob Boilen were featured on the Season 13 premiere of WETA Arts this week. The Takoma Park low-power community station has been on the air since 2016 and is fueled by more than 100 volunteer DJs.
Boilen, best known as the creator of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts and All Songs Considered, retired from NPR last year after 35 years and quickly jumped into his new role at WOWD. He also fronts My Tiny Morning Show. You can watch the video below:
