Bob Delmont Returns To WPOC, Adds Evenings On WMZQ

After nearly two months, Bob Delmont is back on the air in Baltimore. iHeartMedia has announced that Delmont is returning to his midday shift on 93.1 WPOC in Baltimore, while also adding a new 7 p.m. to midnight show on 98.7 WMZQ. Delmont had spent 27 years at WPOC before being caught up in iHeartMedia’s restructuring in late June.

“Bob’s back!” said Jeff Kapugi, iHeartMedia Region Senior Vice President of Programming. “He’s one of the best we have, and we are lucky to have him on our DC/Baltimore team!

“I can’t tell you how excited I am to be working at the mighty 98.7 WMZQ on the shift where it all began for me,” Delmont said. “I get to come back working with the people that I know, and some I get to know better, all while still being part of WPOC on the same shift I’ve spent almost all of my career.” He called the opportunity “a gift” and thanked Kapugi for making the return happen, adding, “I’m ready for y’all, D.C.!”
