Brittany Ward Leaves DC News Now
Meteorologist Brittany Ward announced on the air Saturday that it was her final day with DC News Now. Ward delivered the weekend morning forecast on Saturdays and Sundays and also appeared during the week as part of the DC Weather Now team.
Ward is heading to Milwaukee, where she will become the weekend morning meteorologist at WISN 12. She will join anchor Lakyra Banks on the station’s Saturday and Sunday morning newscasts beginning August 17. Ward will also provide weather reports and work on special assignments during the week.
Before arriving in the DC market, Ward worked at WVNS-TV in Beckley.
