Changes At WFMD
Frederick’s 930 WFMD has made some staff changes.
9 AM – 11:45 host and Program Director Derek Hunter has exited the radio station. The syndicated Brian Kilmeade Show has replaced Hunter’s late morning shift.
Hunter Is still doing his show. It’s available as a podcast.
Chris Michaels, the Producer of Morning News Express, has added Program Director duties.
Michaels started his career at WRGG in Greencastle and went on to work at WTHU in Thurmont before joining WFMD.
Before working at WFMD, Hunter worked at WMAL, WBAL and WCBM. He was also a guest host for Rush Limbaugh.
WFMD was sold to Local Daily Media in October.
