Date Set For WRNR Launch

DCRTV reported last month that WRNR, the beloved adult album alternative station, is making a much-anticipated return to the Annapolis airwaves.

Station owner Cortona Media has announced that the station will be on air at 93.5 FM Memorial Day weekend.

Cortona Media owns a translator that they are moving from 99.9 FM to 93.5 FM. The 93.5 signal will serve a greater coverage area.

The installation of the new translator tower is scheduled for next week.

Cortona Media, a group that includes former WRNR owner Steve Kingston and Kirk Litton, spearheads this revival.

Todd Bartley‘s Victory Media of Maryland is still using Cortona‘s 99.9 FM signal to relay WNAV without permission or an LMA.
