Open Letter To All Local PD’S….We Have To Do Better
I wanted to post an open letter to all the local PDs and anyone who works in local radio.
Our industry is under attack right now. Listeners have many choices regarding what to listen to on Spotify, Podcasts, and even TikTok, and YouTube.
I understand everybody Is trying to get by with fewer people and smaller budgets.
But this Is not the time to be sloppy or careless with the product we put over the air.
We are at war. We must step up our game, take pride in our work, and always make our station sound the best it can be.
I’m disappointed with what I heard while listening to WPGC during the 4 PM hour today.
They ran two sweepers in a row where the last syllable was clipped off.
That Is sloppy and should never happen in any market, especially in a market the size of Washington.

This Is the big time. We can’t let stuff like this happen.
Little details like this make the difference between an average radio station and a great one.
