Declan Moore Named GM Of WTOP

Hubbard Radio has named Declan Moore President and General Manager of all news WTOP (103.5), Federal News Network (WFED 1500) and 2060 Digital. Moore succeeds Joel Oxley, who is retiring.

Moore comes to Hubbard from Wondery, the Amazon owned podcast company, where he served as Head of International. Before that, he spent 23 years with National Geographic in Washington, holding several senior leadership positions, including Chief Media Officer, President of Publishing and Digital Media and CEO of National Geographic Partners.

Moore says he is looking forward to building on the brands’ strong presence in the National Capital Region. Hubbard CEO Ginny Hubbard says Moore has a strong track record of preserving established media brands while positioning them for future growth, adding that he has “very big shoes to fill” following Oxley.
