Elliot In The Morning Abruptly Switches to “Best Of,” Online Speculation Follows

Rumors have been swirling around the status of Elliot In The Morning after the show unexpectedly went to a “Best Of” show on Friday. The program aired its first break live on Friday morning before switching to previously recorded segments for the remainder of the show. The sudden change led to speculation across the show’s Facebook page over the weekend, with some listeners wondering if the long-running WWDC (DC101) morning show had been canceled. That is not the case.

More rumors began circulating on Sunday after posts appeared online claiming that Scott Hughes, husband of Diane Stupar, had passed away. Several social media posts even included what appeared to be obituary notices. As of this writing, those claims have not been verified and appear to be unconfirmed internet speculation. The show again aired in “Best Of” mode Monday morning.

The Elliot In The Morning Facebook page addressed the situation on Sunday posting that the show will have an announcement Tuesday morning at 7 a.m.
