FOX 5 News Director To Detroit

FOX Television Stations has named Paul McGonagle as Senior Vice President and General Manager of WJBK Fox 2 Detroit.

McGonagle has been Vice President/News Director for the FOX owned WTTG since November 2014.

He came to DC from FOX in Boston where he spent 6 years as assistant news director before being named Vice President/News Director at WFXT in April of 2011.

McGonagle began his career in broadcasting as a general assignment reporter/photographer at WNNE In White River Junction, VT. He then spent a year and a half as an investigative reporter at CBS2, KGA in Cedar Rapids, and spent 6 years reporting at NBC10, WJAR in Providence before making his move into news management as the NBC station’s assistant news director in 2002.
