Frank Ski Returns To Baltimore Mornings This Week

Baltimore radio veteran Frank Ski is back on the local airwaves this week, co-hosting mornings with Kramer on Mix 106.5 (WWMX). Ski is the first guest host joining Kramer as the station tries out a series of collaboration shows following the departure of Jess Dutra, who recently moved back to the West Coast.

Frank Ski needs little introduction. He began his Baltimore radio run at V103 (WXYV) in the 1980s and later joined 92Q (WERQ) in 1996, where he took the morning show from 10th place to first in less than a year. Ski left Baltimore in 1998 for V103 (WVEE) in Atlanta, where Frank & Wanda In The Morning became one of the market’s dominant morning shows. He later returned to the DC area, hosting afternoons at WHUR, before getting laid off from the station in 2024.

Kramer says additional familiar Baltimore radio personalities will join him in the coming weeks as Mix 106.5 searches for its next permanent morning co-host.
