Glenn Clark Hosting WBAL’s New Afternoon Sports Show
Baltimore sports media veteran Glenn Clark has been named host of the new WBAL NewsRadio Sports Lounge. The show airs weekdays from 3-5 p.m. as part of WBAL’s recently revamped weekday lineup. When the station announced a layoff last week affecting 22 employees, a host for the new sports program had not yet been identified.
Clark has spent roughly a decade in local, regional and national radio, with stops including WNST, 105.7 The Fan (WJZ-FM), NewsRadio 99.1 (WNEW), CBS Sports Radio 1300 (WJZ), SiriusXM and 106.7 The Fan (WJFK).
In 2014, Clark teamed with PressBox to launch Glenn Clark Radio, where he also serves as Director of Digital Programming. He has also worked as a local play-by-play voice for Loyola University Maryland and Stevenson University.
