Janessa Webb Gone From DC News Now
DC News Now Chief Meteorologist Janessa Webb has left the TV station. Her bio has been removed from the DC News Now website. There is no word yet on where she Is headed next.
She has been replaced by Jackie Layer, who moves from weekday mornings to weekday evenings and has also been promoted to chief Meteorologist.
In other DC News Now news, Scott Sumner is going from weekend nights to weekday mornings.
That’s the station’s highest-profile personnel change since weekday morning co-anchor Corey James left a few months ago. James is still listed on the website, but his bio has been removed.
