Jason La Canfora Out At 105.7 The Fan

WJZ-FM (105.7 The Fan) has parted ways with afternoon co-host Jason La Canfora, who confirmed to the Baltimore Sun that he is no longer with the station. La Canfora had been hosting afternoons since 2020 and was reportedly one year into a three-year deal.

La Canfora told the Sun that “there were no specifics given” for the decision, adding that management only said the station was “moving in a different direction.” The timing raised eyebrows, as staff had recently been told the station was performing well in the ratings and on YouTube. Co-host Ken Weinman opened Thursday’s show by informing listeners that La Canfora was no longer with the station but that Inside Access would continue.

Audacy Baltimore SVP and Market Manager Tracy Brandys confirmed in a memo that the company will begin the search for a replacement.
