Justin Johnson Named 98 Rock Program Director
98 Rock (WIYY) has promoted Justin Johnson to Program Director, effective September 1, stepping into the role as longtime PD Rick Strauss retires.
Johnson, who joined the Baltimore station as Assistant PD in 2023, will now direct the station’s signature shows (Justin, Scott & Spiegel, Amelia, and Kirk & Marianne) and oversee content tied to 98 Rock’s exclusive Ravens and Orioles partnerships.
Before Baltimore, he spent 2019–2023 as Program Director at iHeartMedia’s WEBN in Cincinnati, where he also led branding efforts for iHeart’s national rock platform
