Kellye Lynn Jumps From WJLA To WJZ

After more than a decade at WJLA, former WJZ anchor Kellye Lynn is heading back to Baltimore.

Lynn announced that she will rejoin CBS-owned WJZ-TV as a weekend anchor and weekday reporter beginning June 1. The move marks a return to familiar territory for Lynn, who spent nearly 20 years at WJZ as the station’s noon anchor and health reporter. During her previous run in Baltimore, Baltimore Magazine repeatedly named her Best Anchor.

Since 2013, Lynn has been with WJLA, where she has served as an education reporter and weekend morning anchor. Along the way, she picked up two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Newscast and Outstanding Continuing Coverage and was part of the team recognized with an Edward R. Murrow Award for coverage of the Baltimore riots.
