Larry O’Connor Gets Syndication Deal With Salem Media

105.9 WMAL is sending one of its marquee voices national. Morning host Larry O’Connor will see his O’Connor & Company morning show syndicated by Salem Radio Network beginning Monday, May 4, while continuing to air on WMAL from 6 – 9 am locally.

The show will also get a television component on the Salem News Channel, filling the opening left by Chris Stigall’s departure at the end of March.

Salem says the move positions O’Connor as the centerpiece of its national morning lineup, with the program expected to air on more than 140 affiliates. The company is leaning into a cross-platform strategy, tying together radio, streaming, and digital under O’Connor’s brand. Cumulus Washington market manager Jeff Boden says the syndication is a natural next step, noting the show’s strong connection with listeners locally as it now looks to build a broader national audience.
