Layoffs At WJZ-TV

DCRTV hears that WJZ-TV (CBS Baltimore) was hit with layoffs today as part of a broader round of job cuts at Paramount Global. An insider tells us that the station’s Chief Meteorologist, a morning anchor, and several production staffers were among those let go.

The cuts come as Paramount Global undergoes another wave of restructuring across its CBS-owned stations, networks, and streaming divisions.
