Local Personalties Nominated To Radio Hall Of Fame

Congratulations to WPOC morning personality Laurie DeYoung and former WAMU talk show host Diane Rehm on being nominated to the Radio Hall Of Fame.

DeYoung has been at WPOC for 39 years.

Rehm hosted “The Diane Rehm Show” for 37 years at WAMU, and currently hosts a podcast called “On My Mind” that is produced by WAMU.

Also nominated are former WPGC personality Big Tigger (currently at WVEE/Atlanta) and former WRQX personality, Bert Weiss (currently at WWWQ/Atlanta).

Former syndicated host Phil Hendrie is also nominated. Hendrie’s show aired locally on WTNT.
