Loo Katz is one of DC’s most highly respected air-talents, having spent decades on legendary stations up and down the dial. It’s all covered in detail, on the very first DCRTV Podcast, which you can listen to here.
Like many other major-market jocks, Loo “paid his dues” in the business by first working for smaller regional stations. One of those was WZYQ in Frederick, Maryland…a high-energy Top-40 AM/FM simulcast eventually known as Z104.
