Metro Radio Still Sorting Out Tower Site For 1460 AM
Metro Radio is still in talks with the landlord of the temporary site it’s using for WKDV (1460 AM). The company needs to make technical changes to run the station on a permanent basis. If the owner doesn’t sign off, Metro Radio says it’s already looking at alternative sites.
For some history: WKDV once floated a plan to run the frequency at 500 watts daytime and 60 watts nighttime from a single tower in Manassas. But for now, 1460 is running at 144 watts.
