New Reporter Joins WUSA

Lionel Donavan had joined Channel 9 (WUSA) as a reporter.

Donavan transferred to WUSA from KING-TV in Seattle, which Is also owned by Tenga, where he served as the Tacoma bureau chief.

He started in Beijing, China, as an anchor for Blue Ocean Network. He then moved to Jacksonville, working for First Coast News. From there, he returned to Beijing to serve as a correspondent for CGTN.

After living in China for eight years, he moved to Nairobi, Kenya, and worked as a freelance producer.

Before his time at KING, he was a senior producer for TRT World, in DC.
