Pete Medhurst Has Succesful Surgery

Pete Medhurst, Navy Football‘s play-by-play announcer, was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Pete had a successful surgery and was transferred to a rehab center this weekend, where he will work on getting stronger and ready for radiation and immunotherapy.

Pete’s with Brenda shared the following update on X:

“Pete Medhurst and I would like to thank the amazing staff at AAMC for the incredible care they provided.  Dr Kuo, his neurosurgeon and his team along with all of the other doctors, nurses and staff were incredible and made our stay there as comfortable as possible.   After 11 days, Pete was transferred last night to a rehab center and will work on getting  himself stronger and ready for radiation and immunotherapy.  Thank you to everyone for your  thoughts and prayers and messages.  I have read all of them to Pete and we appreciate them so much.  Please continue your prayers and good thoughts.  We love you all.”
