Raheem DeVaughn Out At WHUR
DCRTV hears that Raheem DeVaughn was let go as host of The Original Quiet Storm on WHUR (96.3). The R&B singer had hosted the show since October 2024.
His departure comes a little under two weeks after WHUR celebrated the program’s 50th anniversary on September 11. The celebration honored the show’s legacy and its original host, the late Melvin Lindsey.
DeVaughn has been removed from WHUR’s website. No word yet on the reason for his departure or who will take his place.
