Rob Roblin, Baltimore TV Legend Passes Away

Longtime WBAL-TV reporter Rob Roblin passed away Monday night. Roblin was a beloved fixture in Baltimore news, known for his unforgettable hurricane live shots, offbeat stories, and self-deprecating humor.

Whether jumping into the Chesapeake Bay for the Polar Bear Plunge or reporting on muskrats and Valentine’s Day cruises, he brought energy, heart, and authenticity to everything he did.

Robbie retired from WBAL in 2014 and had just turned 79.
