Robert Burton Joins FOX 5’s Good Day DC
Former WJLA Good Morning Washington co-host Robert Burton has joined WTTG, adding another familiar face to FOX 5’s lineup.
The move was announced on air Tuesday morning during Good Day DC, just months after Burton exited WJLA in July. Burton had been a longtime presence on Good Morning Washington, where he built a reputation as a steady and personable co-host in the station’s early hours.
The hire also brings an interesting personal connection back to FOX 5. Burton’s wife, Jeannette Reyes, previously worked at WTTG as a morning anchor before stepping away from local television news. With Burton now at the station, it marks a bit of a full-circle return to FOX 5 for the family. You can watch the announcement here.
