Ross Simpson Passes Away

Legendary Mutual, and Associated Press radio correspondent. Ross Simpson died yesterday.

For more than 50 years, Simpson covered some of the biggest stories in our area, including the assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan and the fall of Baghdad..

For many years Simpson was Mutual‘s correspondent on Capitol Hill.

Simpson also authored three books detailing military topics.

Simpson worked for WDVM 25 in Hagerstown until he became ill a few years ago.
