Sina Gebre-Ab Joins Fox 5
A familiar face to Baltimore TV viewers appeared on FOX 5 in DC Tuesday morning. A DCRTV reader reports that Sina Gebre-Ab was reporting from the Update Desk during the station’s morning newscasts, appearing at 6 a.m., 7 a.m., and 8 a.m. While Gebre-Ab was clearly on the air, DCRTV could not find any announcement from the station indicating whether she had officially joined the FOX 5 team or was filling in.
Gebre-Ab is well known to viewers in Baltimore, where she worked as an anchor and reporter at WJZ-TV. She was affected by the station’s staff reductions about a year ago.
DCRTV has reached out to FOX 5 for clarification, but FOX 5 has not responded.
