Sinclair Chairman Lists Maine Mansion For $16.5 Million

Sinclair Broadcast Group Executive Chairman David D. Smith has listed his coastal Maine estate for $16.5 million. The Cape Elizabeth property sits on 2.4 acres with 300 feet of rocky coastline and views of five lighthouses.

Smith spent nearly 30 years as CEO of Baltimore-based Sinclair, which owns nearly 200 television stations across the country, including WJLAWBFFWNUV, and WUTB. He stepped down as CEO in 2017 but remains executive chairman. Smith also owns stakes in The Baltimore Sun and The Capital Gazette.
