Summer Shepherd Moves To Afternoons At WGTS
WGTS (91.9) announced today that morning show co-host Summer Shepherd will move to afternoon drive, beginning March 23. Shepherd joined the station in February 2023, teaming with morning host Jerry Woods.
Shepherd replaces John Nolan, who has exited the station. Nolan joined WGTS in October. The station says a search is underway for a new morning show co-host.
“For a decade afternoons were my home, at a variety of stations. I’m excited to revisit that slot and craft something fresh that connects with this amazing community of listeners, reminding them that they’re loved and not alone. I also look forward to sleeping in a bit. Not gonna lie,” Shepherd said. Shepherd brings nearly 15 years of radio experience to the role and previously spent seven years hosting afternoons at WNWC (Life 102.5) in Madison.
