WRC anchor Tony Perkins returned to the NBC station this morning after recovering from surgery for prostate cancer.
“The good news is, I am cancer free at this point,” he told viewers, but cautioned he had to take blood tests to be sure the cancer stays away.
He was told his cancer, which was diagnosed two years ago, had progressed this fall, which prompted the surgery.
