NBC4 (WRC) anchor Tony Perkins has announced that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Perkins posted on NBC4.com that he will take a few weeks off from the anchor desk in January to recover from surgery.
He said, “I’ll be back, and I’ve promised to be transparent about my journey in the hope of helping others and raising awareness about the importance of screening.”
