Two Local Radio Lineup Changes Take Effect Today
Two local radio lineup changes take effect today, with Trapper Young moving to mornings at 95.9 The GOAT (WGRQ) and Mike Ondayko taking over middays at 93.5 WRNR.
Young has been named morning host at WGRQ, replacing Dave Adler, who departed at the end of April. The move ends Young’s remarkable 29 year run in afternoon drive at sister station, B101.5 (WBQB), where he was one of the Fredericksburg market’s top rated personalities.
At WRNR, Mike Ondayko moves into the midday slot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ondayko joined the station in May for Sundays. Carrie Evans is stepping away from her daily show to focus on family responsibilities, but will remain with WRNR on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on special projects.
