Aberdeen’s WAMD-AM has a new owner.
Radio Broadcast Communications has sold 970 WAMD to Sweet Tea Radio.
The sale price Is $5,000
Radio Broadcast Communications also owns WKHZ-AM in Easton, MD.
Sweet Tea owns WHGM-AM in Havre de Grace, and a translator at 100.5. The station Is currently silent.
WAMD airs a CHR format. There is no word on whether the new owner plans any changes.
