WBQB Giving Away $100K To Local Charities

Fredericksburg’s B101.5 is spreading kindness in a big way with their $100K of Kindness Initiative. 

Throughout 2025, B101.5 will be donating a total of $100,000.00 to four local charities — Rappahannock Adult Activities, The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, Fredericksburg SPCA, and Leashes of Valor.

Each designated charity will receive $25,000.00 to continue their mission of serving the community.

Yesterday, B101.5 presented their first donation, a $25,000 check to Rappahannock Adult Activities.

While presenting the donation, Centennial Broadcasting II LLC, President and CEO, Allen Shaw, said, “We’re just pleased we can do this. The idea came from our owner and Chairman of the Board who has a real desire to help. The reason Rappahannock Adult Activities is getting this first check is because of the great work you’ve already done here in the community.”
