WCHV To Go Off Air Temporarily
WCHV-AM 1260 and its FM translator 107.5 W300DV, owned by Monticello Media, filed notice with the FCC today requesting to temporarily go silent.
The station Is preparing to remove RF equipment from its current tower base as part of a project to diplex co-owned WKAV 1440 AM at the same site. New transmission equipment will be installed to accommodate the shared setup.
Monticello Media has requested permission for WCHV to remain off the air for up to 180 days while the work is completed.
