WGTS Names John Nolan & Lisa Berigan As New Afternoon Hosts

WGTS (91.9) is turning to two familiar DC radio voices for its next afternoon team. John Nolan and Lisa Berigan will take over the slot recently vacated by Johnny and Stacey Stone, who retired in August. Their debut date will be announced soon.

Nolan, who most recently spent eleven years doing afternoons at Salem’s 95.9 The Fish (KFSH-FM) in Los Angeles, is no stranger to Washington. He logged two decades on the local dial with long runs at WASH, WAVA, WBIG, WPGC, and Z104. I am so grateful and humbled that God opened the door for me to come home to serve Him and share His love with WGTS listeners,” Nolan said.

Berigan, meanwhile, wrapped up nearly two decades at WBIG-FM (Big 100) last year, where she handled middays from 2005 to 2024. She also continues to host Superadio’s syndicated Live In Concert. Locally, she’s also been heard on WASH, WMZQ, and Z104. “I am thrilled to be joining the outstanding team at WGTS 91.9… I can’t wait to get started and work side by side with my longtime friend and colleague John Nolan,” she said.
