WHUR Listeners Donate Over 2,000 Toys
WHUR wrapped up its 2025 Season of Giving with a record-breaking 23rd Annual Children’s Toy Drive on Saturday at the Shops at Iverson. The event saw community members drop off more than 2,000 new toys and gifts for children in need throughout the area, marking a powerful conclusion to the station’s series of community service efforts this year.
WHUR’s Season of Giving also included earlier initiatives such as school supply distributions, coat and hat donations, and radiothon fundraisers supporting food security and disaster relief.
