WJLA To Go Off-Air For 4 Days
The over-the-air broadcast signal of Channel 7 (WJLA) will be down from Tuesday, May 28 – Friday, May 31 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The station will be doing tower maintenance that requires the station to go off-the-air.
The outage will not affect cable and streaming services.
DCRTV wonders why the station wouldn’t broadcast from a backup site, or do the tower work during the overnight hours??? Taking the station off the air doesn’t sound like a good idea.

Besides, wmal ch. 7, wusa ch 9, whut ch 32 and wjal ch. 68 being down. Atsc 3.0/nextgen channels in dc area are also down ( this includes ch 4,5 7,9 and 32). It is now June 5. Any idea when the repairs will be completed on the transmitter?

They are done. Everything is back to normal.
