WMAL Names Operations Manager
Luis Segura is headed from Los Angeles to Washington to take over as Operations Manager at WMAL-FM (105.9) effective May 4. He fills the opening created by Bill Hess’ retirement.
Segura has been a key player on the West Coast for years. He’s been with KABC (790 AM) in Los Angeles since 2013, serving as Executive Producer before adding Program Director duties at KSFO (810 AM) San Francisco in late 2022 and later taking on PD responsibilities for KABC in 2023. Before that, he spent 15 years in Chicago at CBS Radio, working on the Eddie & JoBo Show at WBBM-FM (B96) and later at WJMK (K-Hits 104.3).
