WNAV Adds Commanders To Growing Sports Lineup
WNAV is adding the Washington Commanders to its sports lineup. The station will carry three hours of pregame programming, live play-by-play and three hours of postgame coverage.
The Commanders join a growing lineup of local sports on WNAV, which also broadcasts Washington Wizards basketball and Navy Football. Owner Todd Bartley told Eye On Annapolis that the addition gives the station a strong weekend combination, with Navy games on most Saturdays and the Commanders on most Sundays.
WNAV currently broadcasts on 1430 and 92.7. Last month the station received FCC approval to move the FM signal to 99.9. The move will give the station much better coverage in the area.
