WPFW Mourns the Loss of Longtime Board Operator Michael Nasella
WPFW has announced the passing of longtime board operator Michael Nasella, who died on Monday, at the age of 55. Nasella, affectionately known to many at the station as Magic Myke or Red Eagle, was a vital part of WPFW for more than two decades.
The WPFW family extended its heartfelt condolences to Nasella’s family, including his wife Kim and their children, Yashua and Kiya. In its announcement, the station thanked Nasella for his immense contributions and for embodying the best of what community radio represents, both professionally and personally.
