WRNR Is Number One In Anne Arundel
93.5 WRNR (WYRE AM / W228ER) came in first place among adults 18 – 34 and 25 to 54 in Anne Arundel County in the latest Nielsen ratings.
The showing is a remarkable accomplishment for WRNR, which operates primarily through FM translators and has been back on the air for only a year. Unlike many translator stations, WRNR is locally programmed and built around local personalities, including Dave Z, Mike Ondayko, and Neci.
The station is managed by co-owners Kirk Litton and Jay Stevens with programming help from Jason Kidd. WRNR also recently hired Steve Borneman, soon to be formerly of 100.7 The Bay (WZBA), as its new General Manager.
